Male Rock group from Los Angeles, California featuring David Paich (vocals/keyboards), Steve Lukather (vocals/guitar), Bobby Kimball (who replaced Jean-Michel Byron, Joseph Williams and Dennis Frederiksen; vocals), Steve Porcaro (keyboards), Mike Porcaro (who replaced David Hungate in 1984; bass) and Simon Phillips (who replaced Jeff Porcaro in 1994 who died from a heart attack on August 5, 1992; drums). Steve Porcaro departed the group in 1988. Kimball reunited with the group in 1999 after a 15 year absence.
